When I called her she said...
"Want to know how I lived so long? I ATE CHOCOLATE EVERY DAY!!!"
I personally think 20 plus years of relaxing in her condo on the Maui coast line has a lot to do with it too.
She always does have a stash of chocolate. Even when I was very young and we would go to visit we could count on grandma sneaking chocolate to us after mom and dad had gone to bed. She always had a secret stash hidden in her room. We got to sleep with her when we would visit and she would read us Billy Goat Gruff and we would all munch on chocolate. Those were the days...
